The BIG Sport Relief Swim is a Comic Relief / Sport Relief initiative — not an Academy Swim Team event. AST is not affiliated with the Big Swim; this page is a club resource so families can cheer on AST swimmers who have signed up independently.
Participants sign up on the Sport Relief website (free T-shirt on signup; raise £200 for a Sport Relief swimming cap), then can log distance toward 15 km — or their own goal — and share a fundraising link here if they want it shown publicly.
We’ve created a Sport Relief team called AST Big Swim Team — when you sign up, join that team if you’d like to take part alongside other AST swimmers and supporters.
Signing up children & young people
Is there an age limit? No — you can take part if you’re 10 or 110. Under-18s must be signed up by a parent or guardian, who can register them using a parent/guardian email — there’s no need to email Sport Relief. Each person needs their own email address for signup.
